i found "hey arnold" fan fiction and pictures hand drawn by me when i was in 4th grade. i planned out an entire family that would move in and become characters on hey arnold. i wrote an introduction and some background on all of the family members. i drew pictures of them and their favorite things.

i even wrote a letter to nickelodeon on who they are and why they should be put on the show.

i also found diaries full of entries of me pretending to be a girl "in the olden days" (idk what that means, i mentioned oregon trail though).

i found ads for sodas that i made up. i remember making commercials for it in the mirror in my room. i used to sit in front of that mirror for hours and pretend i was on tv. i was such a weird little kid. i cant tell if it was a good or bad thing that i had no friends.

i promised you a tour, so here it is! i'm missing some shit and it's still messy as hell. but this is as much for me as it is for you, lj. hopefully 6 months down the line i'll look at these and laugh because i will have awesome furniture.

oh yeah about the furniture, some of it is permanent, some is just there for us to sit on. we moved out with a bed and a bunch of clothes, so everything we have was given to us. so.. pardon the furniture.

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Steve Carell is going from "The Office" to the general store.

Carell, who plays bumbling boss Michael Scott on the NBC sitcom, recently bought the Marshfield Hills General Store. The 45-year-old actor is a part-time resident of the town on Massachusetts' south shore, 25 miles south of Boston.

He put sister-in-law Tish Vivado in charge, but said customers should not be surprised to see him working there on occasion.

"I will be manning the cash register, and stocking the shelves as time permits!" Carell wrote in an e-mail to The Boston Globe.

He said the purchase was more of an "emotional investment than a business one" and an opportunity to preserve a piece of Americana.

The store's previous owner, Sherry Bechtold, said she and her husband, Bob, sold the 155-year-old building and business to Carell after being convinced he wanted it "for the right reasons." She said she wanted to make sure the new owner retained the store's character.

Vivado took over as store manager on Jan. 1.

ARE YOU SERIOUS?! i'm browsing ontd and this pops up. that is hilarious! i have a $2,000 painting of this store up on my wall! we won it at the marshfield hills art fair! i mean, i knew steve lived here but it's so funny to see marshfield in ontd.

welcome to luke skywalker/chewbacca/wall-e! we all chose different names for him and cant agree on one. all i know is i'm not having a cat named wall-e. it'll end up being chewy since he looks like chewbacca and purrs constantly which is similar to the NNNNNNNNNNNNHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH noise chewbacca makes.

he's about 4 months old, but he's fucking huge! he's the same size as bella (white fluffy bitch) and she's 2 years old. she haaaaaates him so far, but she's getting nicer everyday. you can tell she's jealous. anyways this thing just purrs and cuddles and is awesome in every way except for when you pick him up. he flails and claws and goons out. it's cute but kinda annoying. i'm forcing him to get used to being held because it's just unacceptable.

it's technically jeremy's cat, so of course he's being a little bastard about it. i've probably spent 20 minutes alone with this cat in the 3 days we got it. he knows who to come to when he needs cuddling though.

RESIGNATION

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old again. I want to go to McDonald's and think it's a four star restaurant.

I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks.

I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them.
I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day.
I want to return to a time when life was simple, when all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care. All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair.
That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible.
I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again.
I want to live simple again.
I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow.
So . . . here's my checkbook and my car keys, my credit card bills and my 401K statements. I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further, you'll have to catch me first, cause........
....."Tag! You're it."

An old man lived alone in Idaho. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, Bubba, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.

Dear Bubba:
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.

Love, Dad

A few days later, he received a letter from his son.

Dear Dad:
For heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up that garden. That's where I buried the BODIES.Love, Bubba

At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local Police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left.
That same day, the old man received another letter from his son.
Dear Dad:
Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. It's the best I could do under the circumstances.Love, Bubba

AWWWW
